Lifeworks Photography has been established since 1992 in Melbourne Australia. We work from a relaxing home based studio in Northcote Victoria. Over this time we have gained a growing reputation for superb quality, unique and innovative portrait photography. Meet our Team
The creative, fun and highly qualified all female team at Lifeworks are:
Owner & Photographer Julie Ewing, a mother of 2, who is a AIPP Master Photographer II and has an Associate Diploma in Photography.
Photographer Lisa Saddington, Mother of 1, is an AIPP Associate and has a Diploma in Arts with a major in Applied Photography. Photographer and DIgital Retoucher Tracy Macaskill, orginally from New Zealand, soon to be involved with AIPP and has a Bachelor in Applied Visual Imaging, majoring in Photography.
As an ongoing commitment to excellence, the team participates in many photographic design workshops and seminars. Julie has been a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography for 20 years and the team abides by the AIPP governing standards of ethics and industry practice. We continually challenge ourselves by entering the annual AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards process, regularly attaining awards along the way, with at present, a total of over 60 awards being attained. Our photographic team work with high-end digital cameras and our creative digital artists are highly skilled in design and computer techniques using the latest computers and software. Having all the latest and greatest at our disposal is one thing, but it is our ability in its use and our attitude to what we do that sets us apart. What We Do
Our team specialise in personalised Wall-Art portraiture of all ages, including pregnancy, newborn and toddlers for which we have a unique flair, older children to teenagers and of course family portraits. Our focus is for natural portraits photographed with a sense of fun that portray the love and life in your family.
Photographing people requires not only specialised skills in photography techniques, but more importantly in people skills. The photography team show an empathy and compassion for people with a professionalism, patience and passion for photography. Our clients often comment on how fun, relaxed and professional the whole experience was. Your final images show you in your best light with completely natural expressions. We consult with you before each session and working together, we tailor the portrait ideas. The images we produce can be designed to fit perfectly in specific locations in your home, just like furniture.
